Max Verstappen won the last Formula One race in Malaysia.

Eventful weekend at Sepang International Circuit for the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Ferrari looked very strong during Friday and Saturday practices, as did Red Bull, while Mercedes seemed to struggled a bit, until qualifying. Sebastian Vettel had a Power Unit failure and did not qualified, and it was Lewis Hamilton who took pole position, followed by a quick Kimi Raikkonen, just 0.045 seconds behind, and the two Red Bull's of Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo

On Sunday, Kimi Raikkonen's SF70H Power Unit failed and did not take part in the Grand Prix. As expected, Lewis Hamilton lead the field but was soon overtaken by Max Verstappen, and had to settle for second place. Daniel Ricciardo resisted Sebastian Vettel's charge to finish third. Vettel finished fourth after starting last on the grid, setting the fastest lap ever at Sepang, a record 1:30.080 on lap 41.

Hamilton left Malaysia 34 points ahead of Vettel in the Drivers' Championship with 5 races to go.
