The 2015 Formula One season was the 66th season of the Formula One World Championship. The season started in Australia on March 15th and concluded in Abu Dhabi on November 29th. In the nineteen Grands Prix of the season, a total of ten teams and twenty-two drivers competed for the World Drivers' and World Constructors' Championships.
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton won his third World Drivers’ Championship with 381 points and 10 victories, having only been outside the podium twice (P6 in Hungary and a single retirement in Singapore). Team-mate Nico Rosberg came in second with 322 points and three straight wins in the final championship races. Sebastian Vettel was third for Ferrari. On the Constructors’ side, Mercedes dominated with an incredible 703 points, ahead of Ferrari with 428, Williams with 257 and Red Bull with 187.
