2023 São Paulo (Brazilian) Grand Prix posters
The event changed its name from the traditional Brazilian Grand Prix to the Sao Paulo Grand Prix due to political circumstances as there was strong pressure from some organizers to return the Grand Prix to Rio de Janeiro, even though the Jacarepagua Circuit had already been demolished to give way to the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, and to diminish the possibility, the local authorities increased their involvement in the race, as well as to promote the city worldwide, in a similar manner to what Mexico has done with the Mexico City Grand Prix name instead of the traditional Mexican Grand Prix.
