Mighty Brabham. The BT52 made its debut at the 1983 Brazilian Grand Prix, the opening round of the Formula One championship that year, and went on to finish third in the Constructors’ Championship, with a total 4 wins, 3 of which served to secure Nelson Piquet’s Drivers Championship that year.

Longtime Brabham designer Gordon Murray designed the car that ran on Michelin tyres and was powered by a HMW M12/13 turbocharged engine of around 850 bhp.

We had the change to visit this fine beauty at the BMW Museum in Munich, Germany last year. Truly magnificent we might add.
